Meet Dr. Mutell 


Dr. Dennis Mutell, D.C., D.A.C.B.S.P., D.A.C.B.N.,graduated from Life Chiropractic College in 1983 with honors. Following graduation Dr. Mutell set up a private practice in Baldwin, New York. He moved to Louisiana in 1997 and has been in private practice in Covington.

Dr. Mutell has been credentialed in Documentation of Spinal Trauma, MRI, Bone Scan and X-ray Protocols for the Trauma Patient and continues his education in the care and documentation of the trauma patient such as victims of car crashes.

In 1988 Dr. Mutell earned his diplomate degree from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. He also worked at The All African Championships in Cairo, Egypt in 1991. Participation at this event led to receiving the International Sports Chiropractic Service Award from the Federation Internationale de Chiropractics Sportive in Montreal Canada in 1992.

In 1996 Dr. Mutell had the honor of working with athletes at the Olympic Games held in Atlanta, Georgia.  Dr. Mutell served as a senior staff member at the Mobile USA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships in New York City in 1991 and was a sports medicine team member at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field trials in New Orleans in 1992. 

Dr. Mutell obtained diplomat status with the American Clinical Board of Nutrition.  

Dr. Mutell lives in Mandeville, Louisiana with his wife Karen. Dr. Mutell still enjoys competing and training for competitions such as road races, triathlons, duathlons, mountain bike races and adventure races.
